Hi! I’m Ann Hayes, a writer for Impact Early Education.
I’m here because it’s an exciting opportunity to share my preschool experience and learn from others!
Experience
Teaching is a work of heart. Once a child steps into your life, they stay there forever. My teaching experience is varied — all ages, from preschool to high school. I’m so proud to have had years of siblings in my classroom; there’s nothing like a parent trusting you with all three of their children!
Running into former students always makes my day. My current focus is on literacy. Every child should have access to books, and someone to read to them. I can’t imagine doing anything else!
Education
I’ve been in love with books as long as I can remember. My library card was my ticket to other worlds! My love of books led me to pursue education, and I graduated from Ohio State University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s of Science in English Education.
