Dr. DeLucca earned a dual PhD from the University of Florida in developmental psychology and educational psychology. Since then, she’s made it her mission to positively impact the field of early childhood education. She has worked diligently as a research scientist for a children’s early literacy initiative before moving into an applied position as the Vice President of Operations for a system of preschools. These collective experiences combined with her education fueled her desire to create change in the industry. She now serves as the founder and CEO of Impact Early Education.
Her heart, passion, and industry knowledge made her the recipient of the Saint Augustine Record’s 40 Under 40 Business Leaders Award. Her research and work have been recognized by multiple other awards; however, she is the most proud of her volunteer work in the nonprofit world.
Dr. DeLucca’s dream is to transform the field of early education by providing the support, strategies, advocacy towards policy change, and innovative solutions that child care professionals need to help children thrive and to lead intentionally.
